Treble Ensemble

Our Treble Ensemble, directed by Isabelle Peterson, is our “travel team,” a group of sopranos and altos from the larger chorus that performs at venues and events throughout the community. Last season, they performed twice at West Florida Public Library downtown, at The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek (an assisted living facility), and for the Pensacola Museum of Art Guild.  This season, they’ve sung at the library, led our holiday sing-along, and entertained at Golden Elite Track and Field Club’s Breakfast with Santa, at Azalea Trace’s Christmas Gala, and at Arcadia Senior Living.

Their most recent public performance, I Dream a World, was a free lunchtime concert on Saturday, April 20 in West Florida Public Library downtown. The program, a prelude to Lift Every Voice, the Choral Society’s upcoming celebration of music by Black composers, included pieces by Remel Derrick, Rollo Dilworth, J. Rosamond Johnson, Adolphus Hailstork, Florence Price, and André Thomas.
