Presented by the Choral Society and Aragon Wine Market + Wine Bar in the Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Community Center, this tasting event featured wines from six countries perfectly paired with more than a dozen choral selections. Attendees sampled the wines, introduced by AWM’s guru de vin, Pepper Dowdy, and shared a charcuterie board seated at tables of eight.  

The wines were imported from South Africa, Austria, Hungary, Italy, France, and Argentina, and the music included songs by such composers as Schubert, Brahms, Offenbach, Kodály, and Piazzolla, performed by our 100-voice chorus under the direction of Peter Steenblik.
