“Grease is the word…” and it was the theme for our sold-out 2022 Foo Foo Festival event. 

Popular actor and choreographer Michael Dennis emceed our screening of the classic movie musical in the Rockin’ Rydell version featuring song lyrics on the screen.

Outside the Rex, moviegoers cruised through Thunder Road, a display of classic vehicles, organized in partnership with Panhandle Cruisers Car Club.

When they entered the theatre, moviegoers were greeted by staff dressed in 50’s style, and many attendees wore their 50’s best. Before the movie began, our emcee conducted a costume contest, helped everyone brush up their hand jive, warmed up their voices, and taught them to use the items from their fun bags.
