Bruce BakerThank you for joining us in our celebration of our milestone Season 80!

In November, we made our first-ever appearance in Pensacola’s Foo Foo Fest, performing some of our favorite selections from the past 80 years.

Then, in honor of our 80th anniversary, we presented our annual Messiah from the stage of the venerable Saenger Theatre. To enhance the spirit of celebration, immediately following the concert we held an After-Party on the Mezzanine, where patrons mixed and mingled with the soloists, chorus and orchestra members, and conductor Xiaolun Chen. The evening proved to be the perfect way both to usher in the holidays and to commemorate our landmark season.

On December 13th, we hosted a festive singalong at Old Christ Church, inviting the community to join us in singing a variety of holiday favorites, from Messiah choruses to traditional carols.

For the Valentine season, our very popular To Pensacola with Love returned, offering a delightful evening of champagne, chocolate, and song at the Pensacola Museum of Art.

Finally, for our formal spring concert in April, we presented Mendelssohn’s powerful Elijah. As you can see, it was a busy, energizing year!

While the board, staff, and members manage the day-to-day responsibilities of our organization, the most important part of the equation is our fantastically dedicated fan base. Without you, none of what we do would be possible. We sincerely appreciate your support, and we depend on your continued generosity. Please keep buying those season tickets, attending our concerts, and spreading the word about Choral Society events. You truly are the driving force behind our 80 years of success, and we look forward to many, many more.
